ECONOMY & JOBS

I believe a strong economy is about people not headlines, not talking points, and not partisan wins. It’s about whether you can find a good job, earn a fair wage, and build a stable life.

I am not a career politician and I know the realities and necessity of having good, local job opportunities. When the economy is working, it gives families dignity, stability, and opportunity. When it’s not, everything else becomes so much harder.

My priority in Congress will be supporting policies that grow the economy and bring good jobs into our district—jobs that pay well, last, and support a strong middle class. Economic growth matters, but it has to be the kind of growth that people can feel in their everyday lives.

Right now, our tax code and system of regulations too often make it harder for businesses to invest and create jobs locally. It shouldn’t be this complicated to do the right thing. We need a tax system that rewards companies for creating good local jobs, investing in workers, and building long-term roots in our communities.

I also believe higher wages and a stronger economy go hand in hand. When people earn more, families are more secure, small businesses thrive, and communities grow stronger. Economic policy should help rebuild the middle class, not leave people feeling like they’re falling behind no matter how hard they work.

I don’t believe job creation should be a partisan issue. I’m committed to working with both Republicans and Democrats to bring more jobs, higher incomes, and a better quality of life to our district. Real progress doesn’t come from politically partisan games it comes from cooperation and results.

At the end of the day, I’m focused on outcomes. More opportunity. More stability. And an economy that works for the people who live here.

That’s the approach I’ll take with me to Congress.
